Mrs Brown’s Boys is unlikely to return for a full series, according to BBC comedy controller Shane Allen. The popular comedy’s future may be limited to Christmas specials, due to creator Brendan O’Carroll‘s busy schedule.
He told Broadcast that it would be “hard to get another series” of the BBC Productions sitcom.

Finally we get shows like Mrs Browns Boys and you are going to take it off the air. I think you had best put your thinking caps on and change your minds.
