!mpossible Celebrities – Spinoff Series Heads To BBC One Primetime This Summer

!mpossible Celebrities is making its way to primetime BBC One this summer, hosted by Rick Edwards.

Across six episodes 18 celebrity contestants will compete for the chance to win £10,000 for a charity of their choice.

In each episode, the celebrities must avoid giving !mpossible answers as they battle it out across three rounds of !mpossible style multiple choice questions. Every right answer takes them a step closer to a shot at that jackpot – but a single !mpossible answer will knock them out for that episode.

Meet the Celebrities

The 18 celebrities taking on the challenge are:

• TV presenters Gregg Wallace, Angela Scanlon and Rory Reid
• Radio and TV presenter Dotty
• Actors Jorgie Porter, Chizzy Akudolu and Liz Carr
• Comedians Russell Kane, Rachel Parris, Imran Yusuf and Craig Hill
• Olympic medallist and TV presenter Iwan Thomas MBE
• Paralympic champion and Crossbench Peer Baroness Tanni Grey-Thompson
• Steps singer Ian ‘H’ Watkins
• TV personalities Debbie McGee, Spencer Matthews, and Vicky Pattison
• YouTuber and author Louise Pentland
• Each week one celebrity will win the prize money for their chosen charity, making way for a new contender. Joining the !mpossible Celebrities line up across the weeks will be:

• Journalist and broadcaster Reverend Kate Bottley (episode three)
• Actor and former S Club 7 star Hannah Spearritt (episode four)
• TV personality and professional dancer Anton Du Beke (episode five)
• Farmer and former JLS member JB Gill (episode six)

“One memorable moment came while trying to make small talk with Gregg Wallace, food critic extraordinaire, over lunch. I figured I’d bring up my attempt to follow a vegan diet, so I somewhat flippantly said, ‘Some vegan food is actually quite decent, mate, you’d be surprised.’ He replied ‘No, I don’t think I’d be that surprised.
