Amazon has cancelled Mozart In The Jungle after four seasons. The streaming company has opted not to renew the symphonic drama for Season 5.
Executive producers Paul Weitz, Will Graham, Roman Coppola and Jason Schwartzman said of the cancellation:
“We are so proud of the four seasons we made of this show and are grateful to the cast, crew, fans and Amazon for writing this symphony with us. We hope people will keep finding the show for years to come.”
Insiders have confirmed to RenewCancelTV that Mozart In The Jungle Season 5 will not be shopped elsewhere.
RIP.

Not happy! This is a great show which exposes people to music that otherwise would not happen. A clever, musically beautiful concept. Love the cast. Always wanted Bernadette Peters to sing in each episode. Of course, it is a show not for morons so it has to be cancelled. Disgusted and very disappointed.

I agree 100% with Beverly. Amazon has very little entertainment of this quality that is edgy, funny, and doesn’t use overt sex to sell the show. It’s a program that truly entertains! At the very least give us a season that finishes out the story lines and gives the fans proper closure.

This is crazy…I am so addicted to this show and now after binge watching all 4 seasons I find out there will be no season 5! This is an outrage!
