‘Mountain Vets’ Renewed For Series 2 On BBC Two

Per sources, Mountain Vets is returning for series 2 on BBC Two.

BBC Two has commissioned Rare TV to produce the prime-time series.

The six-part series will be set in Northern Ireland’s ancient Kingdom of Mourne, where animals outnumber citizens ten to one.

Rare TV’s creative director, Rory Wheeler, had the following to say of the news:

“It shows great faith on the part of the BBC to commission series two of Mountain Vets before series one has even been broadcast. But it’s a fabulous show, full of warmth and wonderful characters—animal as well as human—so we’re confident that the BBC’s faith will be repaid with dividends.”
