About Mountain Men

This season, the Mountain Men continue to carve their lives from the untamed ranges of America, while facing one of the coldest and meanest winters in decades. Predators are a constant threat for Marty, Tom, Eustace, Rich, Charlie and new mountain man Kyle. They all know that the meanest beast in the wild is Mother Nature herself, and this year she’s fixing to give them hell. They will brave the extremes of remote wilderness where one single misstep can send you into the bone-breaking jaws of a grizzly bear or leave you stranded with no help for miles around. As they struggle to stay one step ahead of the deadly cold, each will take on new challenges to maintain their life in the wild and ensure their survival.

    I’ve like old Tom on Mountain Men up in Montana, and his wife. They do the show justice. Also Marty shown flying that plane is real. I’ve had to do some of that from Juneau to the Islands of Alaska, No way to get to Juneau except boat or plane. Also spent a lot of time outside of Anchorage. This show keeps it real without the fake drama like Alaskan Bush People :-(( The Mountain Men all exhibit skills to survive.

    Only negative I have is the guy with his son. Cant think of his name but they are in New Mexico. I sat in absolute horror as Dad is going to teach is son how to handle the green young horse Chico in the round pen. Horse got his foot, caught in between the round pen panels and could have snapped his foot off.
    Dad IS NOT A HORSE TRAINER. I REPEAT DAD IS NOT A HORSE TRAINER. I’ve raised horses for 60 yrs and truly was horrified. This family needs to purchase horses already broke to ride please.

      Great observation! I was horrified watching the lack if immediate action to get control of that situation. Kyle and his son are not a good addition to mountain men.

        I will miss Tom and Nancy for me the were the show. He always said he would be a mountain man until the day he died and I really thought he would to me he was the only true mountain person on the show I doubt I watch again. I agree with what you said about Kyle and his son definingly not horse people. The boy could not ride at all it showed in several episodes where the horse he was on was following the other one and then the episode where the boy can not get it to go down a small incline the horse reads his fear and reacts when the boy gets off the horse easily goes down by itself. I was glad to see them leave the show. Good bye to Tom and Nancy I do wish them the best but no show without them

    Please renew Mountain Men. It’s such a refreshing thing to be able to watch a true to life program where both adults and children can see how living in the wild can be a good thing. Please renew the program.

      Shipping wars,& Mountain men, 2 of my favorite TV programs, and now they are cancelled, I’m just gonna stop watching TV and find something else to do, at my age of 70, I lived life along with those fellas.

      Yes !! I agree leave Mountain Men on tv. Get rid of the garbage that encourages violence and murder. Mountain Men is actually an educational show of survival, something that can be useful to each one of us if we ever get into a situation where we get lost in the bush. I spend time in the summer in Algonquin park and much I see on Mountain Men will be of great help if needed.

    ‘Mountain Men’, ‘Longmire’ and ‘The Walking Dead’ are the only programs the Wife and I care about. Longmire ends after Season 6. We will miss Walt, Henry and that Medicine-Man Mystic vibe. TWD renewed for Season 8. OK. HOWEVER… Tom & Nancy, Marty and His Girls, Rich & the Dogs, Eustice & Preston, the rugged Mr. Morgan Beasley, and the new family that moved from Arizona to Arkansas are our hands-down favorite folk to peek into their lives. During the winter months we pray for, and think about them hoping they are well. They will not ever truly be safe in their worlds.

    This is really a good show and we like watching it over and over on DVD. Never get tired of it. Would be a shame if it were cancelled as there is very little to watch on tv anymore that is clean. Please renew it.

    PLEASE!!! At a time when the stations are full of infomercial and crazy stuff my husband would be devistated if Mountain Men (and Live Life or Die), were taken off. Please don’t take these wonderful shows from us!!!

    You must renew Mountain Men. I like them all but love Eustace and Preston. I would be heart broken if this show was cancelled. These type of shows are the only thing worth while watching. I love the History channel and watch a lot of your other shows.

    Grimm was one that got cancelled.

    I have been a fan of mountain men since the very first show, Eustice Conway is my favorite as he lives about a hundred miles from me. To be able to watch as he and Preston deal with the day to day situations that they have is so great. The other men are equaly as talented in thier own way. To the producers of the show ,all I can say is please don,t cancel it. It is one of the best shows on cable tv.

    Hopefully the History Channel renews, the Mountain Man for another season. My family enjoys this reality show very much. Unlike many other shows on the air these days this one feels real. Minimal dramatization makes this one the best. Following the various families as life is played out in what feels like real-time, is what it’s about. Life is not all daisies and roses, but they get by in just about every situation.
    History Channel, don’t let this show become just a show of the past,. Keep it alive for many more seasons please.

    My family loves sitting down town together on the night it`s on having dinner and watching it together. Mountain Men ever sense the first show has been favorite. We`re hooked liked some people are to Football, Basketball, Hockey, and Baseball, Well Tom and Nancy Oar, Eustace Conway, and his best friend the late but not forgotten Preston, and Marty and all the others on the show. Please renew it’s everything families are looking for in reality television. my family has been waiting and looking for it. History Channel had struck gold when they put this show on it’s amazing.     please renew the show. its one of the few shows on TV these days that actually worth watching. It was really a sad to learn of the passing of Preston. Eustace and Preston worked so well together and had such fantastic ideas. The show is simply awsome and something to look forward to watching. I mark it on our calendar to make sure we never miss an episode. there needs to be more shows on TV as interesting to watch as this one and less like the ones they are making now. less sports also.
