Malcolm in the Middle Season 8 remains stuck in the revival waiting room, but during a Reddit AMA series star Bryan Cranston confirmed there have been talks about a movie spinoff:
“There has been some conversation about that. I dont know if or when that could happen, I guess we have to gauge the temperament of the fans to see if its something they want. But maybe. It would be fun to play with all those people again.”
Malcolm in the Middle ran for seven seasons on FOX between 2000 and 2006.
