In an effort to boost the survival prospects of MacGyver and Hawaii Five-0, CBS will crossover the two procedurals, EW reports:
EW has confirmed that the two CBS dramas will cross over in the March 10 episode of MacGyver, which will feature Hawaii Five-0 stars Daniel Dae Kim, Grace Park, and Taylor Wiley.
Per CBS, here’s what’s in store: Mac and the team travel to the big Island of Hawaii to aid in earthquake-relief efforts. When there, Mac and Jack (George Eads) team with Chin Ho Kelly and Kono Kalakaua from the Five-0 Task Force to rescue a group of government scientists trapped in a building on the verge of collapse. However, as they work on the complicated rescue, a dangerous group using the earthquake chaos as a distraction aim to steal the top-secret weaponry the scientists were working on.

While neither series looks in danger this season, MacGyver is currently chasing a second season from CBS, with H50 in pursuit of Season 8.
Stay tuned as we continue to monitor the survival status of MacGyver and H50…

Hey CBS, Renew H50 for Season 8. It is one of the few night time programs I watch.
H50 needs to stay in the lineup!
Elaine says
I second that. Great Friday night line up. Don’t screw it up
Linda says
Totally agree
Rob says
Love watching H50. It’s nice to see episodes thàt have to do with the history of the island. Would love to see an episode that has to do with mount killawa eruptiing. After all that is a big part of the islands history.

I love the Friday night line-up..Watch it every chance my husband, and i can..If we can’t watch it, we record them…Great line -up..Please, do not cancel them…

Hope Hawaii Five-O gets renewed and an 8th and possible final season with or without Alex O’Loughlin. Really wish a MacGyver and Scorpion crossover would’ve been a great fit in my opinion.
Clare says
I totally agree that H50 should be renewed for an 8th season. I saw an interview where Alex O’Loughlin said he would do an 8th season and that will be it – more reason to renew for one more season.
All the cast are great but Alex makes it essential viewing for me. I LOVE it and it’s the only show that I NEVER miss. If 8 seasons will be it and then he leaves that guarantees excellent viewing figures.
One more season CBS!
Jeffrey says
What would really be great is if one of the Original Cast from the Original Five O could be in an episode. But, unfortunately they have all passed.
KEEP FIVE O on the air for Season 8.
