Lucifer has been sent to cancellation hell after three seasons, but what would’ve happened in Season 4 has the series survived the axe?
Co-showrunners Joe Henderson and Ildy Modrovich have opened up on their plan for Lucifer Season 4, per Deadline:
HENDERSON: As you saw in the finale, Chloe saw Lucifer’s devil face. Finally, proof that Lucifer really is who he said he was. No turning back. Chloe knows the truth.
So that was the big thrust of season 4 – exploring Chloe dealing with those ramifications, and how it affected her relationship with Lucifer. Both professionally and personally. Can you work with the Devil? Can you LOVE the devil?
MODROVICH: And we also had an exciting character from Lucifer’s past who was going to come in and mix everything up. A very personal, intimate figure who we won’t reveal the identity of yet… until we find out if we get the chance to tell the tale on a new network.
Do you like the direction of Lucifer Season 4? Disappointed it will never happen?

Lucifer is my favorite show. I look forward to it every week. Please bring it back or move it to another channel. It was going to get even better in season 4 because of his devil face being revealed to Chloe.

Seriously?? You kept other shows with lower ratings…. but dumped Lucifer?? It was a great show… please reconsider!

Just how are they getting these ratings? Seems to me there are a lot of people who what to watch the show. I know I do and it should be against the law to end a show with a cliff hanger anyway. I’ll bet there are some frustrated writers as well as actors and fans. Please someone pick up the show.

This one of the shows both my wife and I insure we watch each week. While it would be nice to be retained by Fox I would follow it to another network. Tom Ellis is a perfect as Lucifer….

Fox has to be the dumbest network for cancelling Lucifer!
This is the BEST show they have & they don’t even know it.
I LOVE this show & all of the actors, they are so great, it’s not fair to get cancelled.
They keep the dumbest shows on (like cartoon type stuff) & cancel good shows like Lucifer!
I hope Lucifer gets picked up by another network tat deserves it.
I just hope it isn’t by any online networks because I can not afford to pay for those.

This is one of the few shows that was cancelled this year that I will miss. Writing was good, Lucifer was hilarious at times. Just a very interesting show. Sorry to see it go.
