***LOST FINAL SEASON SPOILER ALERT***
LOST coming back around? Damon Lindelof has plotted the return of the ABC mystery drama, though he wont be there to oversee it.
Speaking to EW, Lindelof believes any revival of the ABC mystery drama would have to be in the form of a reboot featuring new characters:
Those characters not only died, but we showed you their experience post-death. Any new take on LOST will probably have to feature new characters, as it should.”
However, as oft-stated, Lindelof has ruled himself out of ever rebooting the iconic series:
“As it relates to Lost, which was so heavily serialized, I do think it’s somewhat of a betrayal to go back in and say there’s more story to tell that I just came up with now, especially when we had ample time to end it on our own terms,” he says.
With TV revivals happening on a weekly, if not daily, basis, stay tuned as we await the inevitable LOST reboot from ABC…
