Having been saved by Netflix, Longmire Season 4 streams from September 10, but attention has already turned to Season 5, with co-stars Robert Taylor and Lou Diamond Phillips making no bones about the fact that renewal is absolutely necessary.
Speaking to Collider, the pair confirm that Season 4 is not about providing closure to the series, rather ratcheting the story up – with a fifth season very much on the agenda:
Will we feel a real sense of closure, by the end of this season?
PHILLIPS: Oh, hell no! We all need a job in Season 5. We’re not closing anything.
ROBERT TAYLOR: There are some very dramatic developments in Season 4. If something is resolved, perhaps the manner that it’s resolved might blow something else apart. There’s a lot of big stuff going on. It’s very hard to talk about it without giving anything away, but there’s a lot of stuff going on. All will be explained pretty quickly.

I am in my 80’s and I totally LOVE LONGMIER one of the best shows on TV, AMC was a fool to cancel it.
That said; I am unable to get Netflex on my TV or I would pay the monthly fee. I AM CRYING. I bought a new HD ready one two years ago this Christmas and it’s not set up for this. No one told me I had to have a special type. I wish I’d known more or I’d of bought another type of TV. Can I get NETFLEX on my computer and if so how.
Also will they put out a CD for both the 4th and 5th seasons or any further seasons??? I have those for the first three seasons (as do four of my friends who can’t get NetFlex for the same reason). I am totally in love with Henry Standing Bear, his dry sense of humor, his way of giving advice, his temper which is unusual anything he does, as well as his friendship with Walt Longmier and the banter between the two men. I totally am in love with Henry.
I would be willing to pay anything (and I do mean anything) to get the CD’s from Amazon or elsewhere.
