A&E has renewed Live PD for an additional 100 episodes, extending the police docu-series’ run through 2018, at least.
A&E’s head of programing Elaine Frontain Bryant, said:
“Live PD is emblematic of the type of groundbreaking nonfiction content A&E is committed to delivering to our viewers, and the outstanding success of the series has been a key contributor to the growth of the network at a time when the industry at large continues to experience viewership erosion. We are very pleased to continue our partnership with the team at Big Fish, our hosts Dan Abrams and Tom Morris Jr., our studio and field crew across the country, as well as the communities and law enforcement agencies who have opened their doors to our viewers for an unfettered glimpse of the policing of America.”
Per sources, the renewal comes into effect this summer and is set to cover Seasons 2 and 3.

I LOVE the Live Pd show.especially Deputy Kevin Lawrence. He is a perfect balance of cool, calm and collected, respectful and professional as well as tough when he has to be.He gives a great name to law enforcement.
