Legion will bring clarity to its reality-bending storyline by the end of its first season, setting up a coveted second season for the X-Men spinoff series, EP Noah Hawley ensures Deadline:
“We introduce this love story in the first hour for the audience, [to keep the series grounded], this will pull us through and will give leeway to tell a story. It’s not necessarily that you can’t understand what’s going on. I’m making a subjective reality, but by the end of the season, you’ll understand (everything).”
But exactly where does Legion fit in the X-Men cinematic universe, and how will this impact future seasons? Hawley offered:
“The other thing that X-Men has is a lot of alternate universes. It’s not that I’m saying it’s one of those, but I’m saying the rules are flexible enough that I can sort of place the show and say, ‘Just watch it, and experience it, and then we’ll talk.’”
Legion premieres Feb. 8 on FX.
Will Legion survive for Season 2? Stay tuned…

Hopefully this is better than Agents of Shield, which in my opinion has sputtered last couple seasons….Too bad Fox/Marvel do not co operate more as I think AOS would be better with real Mutants instead of the poor mans mutants aka Inhumans….
