Legend of the Superstition Mountains Season 2 is in limbo at History.
The six episode first season concluded March 15 on History.
Taking to Facebook, series host Wayne Tuttle confirmed that the show is uncertain to return for Season 2, with history yet to make a decision on its future:
“Whenever history channel decides.”
However, Tuttle notes that the first season is still airing overseas, which could be the reason for the wait, but as for “when and where” a second season might happen, he simply has his fingers crossed:
“Hoping so. It’s up to history channel far as when and where. The show is currently running season one overseas.”
Stay tuned as we continue to monitor the cancel/renew status of Legend of the Superstition Mountains Season 2…

Noo! Please don’t cancel!!! All the decent historical, educational, exciting shows are replaced by junk! Sometimes you just haveto give a newer show a chance to get out there!!!

Please bring back a new season. My family loves this show. Cut back on Ancient Aliens or some other show. But please bring back Legends of Superstition Mountain. We need more shows like this and The Curse of Oak Island. Very interesting and great for the whole family.

I just finished the first season of the legend of Superstition Mountains.
And found out that there might not be a 2nd one.
Which I don’t know the reason and not going to take my time to really get into why.
But personally a big fan of the History channel I find this as a great disappointment .
And just like the legend it’s self, left-out and hanging off a cliff.
Even if there is no big treasure at the end, there is definitely so much more history in the mountains left to be discovered to teach new generation .
I’m not only a fan of the channel , I have been an history buff ever since I could comprehend the meaning of the word
