It could go tomorrow & I wouldn’t miss it. To me it’s just comedy for dummies anyway!

I have to agree w/A Johnson. The Late Show comes in a far distant third after NBC and ABC. CBS might as well as air a late night news program in the same time slot, and they would probably get about the same ratings as they are now.
CBS probably does not break even when they air The Late Show the way they broke even when they aired Person of Interest.
Airing the Late Show after the Super Bowl did it’s long term ratings no good.
David Letterman recently told Tom Brokaw that he could not care less about the Late Show. Apparently he’s not the only person who thinks that way.
Many talk shows have come and gone and disappeared without a trace and nobody remembers they even on the air in the first place, shortly after they were cancelled.
I watched it once or twice and it’s not very entertainning.
Cancel the Late Show and put it out of it’s misery
