Kevin (Probably) Saves the World has long been cancelled by ABC, but star Jason Ritter is still hoping the last three episodes will trigger a reversal, per TVLine:
“I never really know. I just hope that people watch these last three episodes or catch up. There’s so many different things in the air. [ABC has] to do new pilots. We’ll probably know at the last second. But I think a good indicator [will be] how many people watch these episodes, which I hope is a lot.
On the ‘importance’ of Kevin Probably and why he believes Season 2 is essential:
I do. I really do. That was one of the things that I responded to so strongly in the pilot. [In] this period of time where it’s gotten so cutthroat, you [have] people online verbally brutalizing each other. It’s so easy to dismiss other people’s humanity through a computer monitor. So I do think it’s important. We have a lot of dark shows, and not a lot of shows that are… [Creators] Michele [Fazekas] and Tara [Butters], when they were talking about the show, initially, their theme was [for] it was: “Don’t be a jerk. Stop being mean. And even a little bit of kindness goes a long way.” It’s nice to have a show that shows how that can work, even if you don’t have a warrior from God prodding you to do nice things. [Laughs] You can just do it on your own.
Back in reality, the cancellation graveyard has already swallowed Kevin Probably.

One of the best shows on TV. Kevin PStW and The Middle are funny, heartfelt, feel-good shows of which there are far too few on air. I LOVE this show, and have told others to watch.

It is full of joy, wonder and Talent (with Jason Ritter), and I am hopeful that the NETWORK will revisit its thoughts and keep this show alive!!!!

Of course they are cancelling it. Anytime they put in a good show it gets cancelled tonput it crappy shows. It’s a good show ABC.

This is one of one of the best shows on TV. I think with a better time slot, more people would check it out – and love it. It’s one of the very few shows with positive messages that can be viewed and enjoyed by anyone regardless of age. Please renew it!
