ABC has cut the order for midseason live-action/CGI-hybrid comedy seriesImaginary Mary to nine episodes (pilot plus eight), from its original 13-episode order.
A decision was made some tweaks to the animation which require more time to complete. As a result, the series would be ready later than originally expected and the network would need fewer episodes to finish the season.
