Nick Carter hopes to revive his cancelled VH1 show I Heart Nick Carter for Season 2 at Netflix or Hulu, and has urged fans to sign a petition to help the cause.
Citing Arrested Development as a cancelled show that has since been revived by Netflix, Carter said:
“Never say never. Netflix brought back arrested development. If there’s a demand all you need to do is let us know. Maybe a petition lol”
“Either way it was an amazing ride and we had so much fun. If it doesn’t go beyond this at least you were able to get a peek into our life.”
“I say create a petition and have everyone sign it and maybe we’ll take it to Netflix or Hulu or something. Let the people speak.”

It should be noted, however, that Arrested Development is an entirely different case. The comedy-serial had more than one season under its belt, a cult following and was a good fit for Netflix, both in terms of subscribers/analytics and its serialized, binge-watch appeal, which made it perfect for the company’s streaming platform.
On reflection, Carter seems to know that a revival wont be easy, and admitted to being “conflicted”:
I seriously am ok with not doing another season. It's just hard when I have so many people coming up to me asking for one. Conflicted haha

That being said, watch this space as I Heart Nick Carter attempts to survive the cancellation graveyard.
