ABOUT HOT GRITS
Welcome to Valdosta, Georgia. This is a small town with everything you’d expect in the South – warm air, picturesque sunsets, and true Southern hospitality. It’s also home to some of the most beautiful girls around.
VH1’s Hot GRITS follows a group of loud, brash, and hilarious girls raised in the south. Emily, Bear, Ratchet, Jenna, Sarah, Hailey, and Jennifer may have similar southern twang in their voices, but they all wear their daisy dukes a little differently.
Growing up in a small town has had a very big impact on these girls. While some of the ladies – like Ratchet and Jenna – have no plans to ever leave Valdosta, others like Emily, can’t wait to get out. Valdosta may be a blip on the map, but these girls do whatever it takes to have a good time. From days at the lake, to mixing it up at the local bar, to backyard ragers, there’s never a dull moment with these girls.
They make the most of what this small town has to offer. These girls tackle relationships and drama the way no Southern belle could. From break-ups to breakdowns and everything in between, these ladies are full country! [VH1]
