May 7, 2015 – ABC renews Grey’s for Season 12.
May 5, 2015 – Debbie Allen will serve as executive producer/director on Grey’s Anatomy Season 12, with an official 2015-16 season renewal imminent.
April 23, 2015 – Grey’s kills off a major character (spoiler alert: Derek Shepherd) but, according to actress Caterina Scorsone, there are “certainly” no plans to end the show after Season 12, which is expected to be confirmed in May. In fact series creator Shonda Rhimes talks up the future of the medical drama, describing it as a “new chapter”:
Derek Shepherd is and will always be an incredibly important character — for Meredith, for me and for the fans. I absolutely never imagined saying goodbye to our ‘McDreamy.’ Patrick Dempsey’s performance shaped Derek in a way that I know we both hope became a meaningful example — happy, sad, romantic, painful and always true — of what young women should demand from modern love. His loss will be felt by all. Now, Meredith and the entire Grey’s Anatomy family are about to enter uncharted territory as we head into this new chapter of her life. The possibilities for what may come are endless. As Ellis Grey would say: the carousel never stops turning.
October 24, 2014 – Encouraging news for Grey’s as ABC expands Season 11 to 24 episodes. The move – which is financial rather than story motivated – confirms the show’s value to the network heading into a likely twelfth season.

You must renew Grey’s it is the best show on tv. I look forward every week to see my show! I never missed an episode. I love every single person that on the show and the ones that left. Please please please don’t cancel my show. I would be so lost without my merdith and friends! Seriously!

You can not get rid of this show it’s my life and at my school everyone of my friends practically watchs and is in love with the show u must not take it down we want more it’s non stop can’t life without greys it’s “my second person”

Oh my goodness please renew Grey’s anatomy for season 12 I’m 13 and I have watched every single episode and got my parents and sister hooked on it I love every single Thursday night’s episode no matter what happens it’s always the best thing on television.
