The Grinder might have inched ahead of Grandfathered in the renewal rat race after receiving a full season pick-up from Fox, but the latter is still in with a shout of a Back-9 order of its own, per Deadline:
Pickup conversation between Fox and ABC Studios are ongoing, with a back order for Grandfathered expected. A possible complication is Stamos’ DUI charge.

January 22, 2016 at 17:42I disagree. Grandfathered seemed like a very shallow show trying too hard to be funny while I constantly laughed at the situational comedy of The Grinder.
