Give My Head Peace will be making a popular return to BBCNI television with three brand new episodes in early 2018.
Da, Cal, Ma, Uncle Andy, Billy and Dympna will be up to their usual comedy antics alongside Big Mervyn, Pastor Begbie and some special guests and new characters.
There’ll also be a few changes for Ulster’s most dysfunctional family as they come to terms with Brexit and Gerry Adams’ decision to stand down as Sinn Fein President.
For audiences who want to experience the inside of Uncle Andy’s house or to visit flat 47A Davis Tower, then BBC Northern Ireland’s Blackstaff Studio A is the place to be. Attending the Give My Head Peace recordings not only provides an opportunity to enjoy the series before everyone else – those in the audience will also witness the bits that will never make it onto our television screens!
There is expected to be a high demand for tickets for these recordings and tickets will be limited to two per applicant and allocated by random draw. Those applying will only be eligible for tickets to one show in this series – reflecting BBC Northern Ireland’s ambition to give as many different people as possible the opportunity to attend.
Audiences can apply for tickets at bbc.co.uk/showsandtours from today until Tuesday 19 December at 10pm.
The recordings will take place on Sunday 7 January, Monday 15 January and Sunday 21 January. (BBC)
