TNT has opted not to order a fifth season of the legal buddy dramedy Franklin & Bash. This happens to be the first major programming decision since Turner Broadcasting brought in Kevin Reilly to oversee TNT and TBS. Franklin & Bash got off to a solid start in 2011 but has been slipping in the past few years. Its most recent fourth season started with 1.246 million viewers, down -60% from the Season 3 opener. The season and now series finale drew 975,000 viewers.

You guys are idiots. This was a good comedic TV show that was fresh and fun to watch. I am so disappointed with you guys cancelling this show just like you cut short White Collar and ended Burn Notice the way you did. This new guy doesn’t really now what the fans want or like. Take a look at CW ding dong! Supernatural is on its 10th season now but the stuck with it and it’s bigger than ever. What a waste. Makes me not want to your channel ever again !!!!!!

I have to agree. This was a fun show that fit a much needed spot. Not everyone likes Supernatural. I know lots of 20 somethings that do not watch it and prefer shows like this one as I do. So far they have cancelled two of my favorite shows and are looking at several more that I watch. They talk about advertiser numbers with shows like supernatural but the joke is on them. The age demographics they are trying to reach don’t watch the commercials! They record and skip them. As someone who works a lot with young adults and older teens I get a pretty in depth view of their likes, dislikes, and habits. Bottom line is that they make more money on the shows the 30 – 60 year old watch. We have the jobs, the money, the power to veto, and the remote!
