Flip or Flop‘s cancellation might be flip-flopped.
It had been reported that Tarek and Christina El Moussa‘s divorce would also result in the cancellation of their HGTV reality series after the current seventh season.
However, People now reports that the couple “are very much committed” to the continuation of the series, with the HGTV renewal gods monitoring the show’s ratings before making a decision on Season 8 — or a potential spinoff series.
Tarek and Christina El Moussa may be ready to leave each other, but they do not want to part ways on filming their hit HGTV show.
A source close to the couple tells PEOPLE that the Flip or Flop stars “are very much committed and want to continue to work together and continue the show.”
According to TMZ, HGTV execs are going to monitor the show’s ratings before making a decision about signing on for more episodes, and also reported that there’s talk of a spin-off.
Will Flop or Flop’s cancellation stick, or will it be flipped for a Season 8 renewal, or spinoff series? Stay tuned…
Mike says
Renew Flip or Flop all you want, I have no intention watching it again no matter how you want to resurrect it. When will people realize that there are consequences for their actions. Why do celebrities always think they are better than everyone else and that they have no rules to live by?
The only thing these two are committed to is the easy money from their TV show. Greed makes their world go round, it’s as simple as that. These people could give a rats ass about you or me as long as they have their easy money job.
I’m thinking that if they do bring it back after this season has run it’s course then I just might boycott all of the HGTV shows I currently watch.
