November 2015 – Animal Planet renews Finding Bigfoot for Season 8.
April 24, 2015 – Animal Planet renews Finding Bigfoot for Season 7, to premiere in May 2015. The renewal comes amid speculation that the show had been cancelled, and ensures the series continues through 2015 at the least.

ABOUT FINDING BIGFOOT
In the two-hour Season 7 premiere episode, Bigfoot Field Research Organization (BFRO) president Matt Moneymaker, researchers James “Bobo” Fay and Cliff Barackman and field biologist Ranae Holland are in the heart of the Amazon Rainforest in Brazil to try and come face to face with a mapinguari, Brazil’s bigfoot-like legend. To locate the mysterious creature, the team travels hundreds of miles up the Rio Negro and through the perilous jungle while simultaneously warding off deadly snakes and jaguars in the darkest hours of night. The team is confident its signature North American bigfoot calls can lead to a sighting of Brazil’s beast.
Also in the new season, the Finding Bigfoot team splits up to settle a debate about which country is more ‘squatchy.’ Cliff and Matt argue that Canada has the best potential for sighting bigfoots, while ardent patriots Bobo and Ranae assert that America is the ultimate home for bigfoots. Renea doesn’t need to be on the show she always doubting people sightings she not a believer she’s to negative and when will they ever see a Bigfoot they never see one always hear howlings and tree knocks come on that will run out and people will stop watching the show

I have been watching Finding Bigfoot since it first came on. I first learned about Bigfoot in the 60’s when I lived in Burney, California while my husband was working on building the dam at Burney Falls. I happened to talk to some of the natives who lived in Burney and they told me all about the “hairy man” that lived up there. He was sacred to them and I have been a believer ever since. I was watching the 2016 season when it stopped broadcasting on the Animal Planet. What’s up with that?

I have never seen a Bigfoot and I live in an area that as far as I know the closest one or ones seen
has been close to the Conowingo Dam in Maryland. BUT!!! I believe there are Bigfoots out there cause
too many people have seen him in different parts of the country not to have. I want to see the TV
show Finding Bigfoot live on but they need to start getting clear pictures and Ranae needs to stop
being so negative and start seeing one. I think that the US needs to know there is a real live Bigfoot
out there.

I love the show but the team is too noisy and visible. I believe a Bigfoot could spot these guys coming miles away. I think the show is entertaining and I desperately want them to find a Bigfoot but I don’t think it will happen. Change the format and put them back on the air.
