E! has cancelled Fashion Police after seven seasons. The cable network has opted not to continue the talk show into Season 8, Variety confirms:
“Fashion Police,” the style talk show that long served as a platform for the late comic Joan Rivers’ famous wit and biting commentary, is coming to an end. Cable channel E! will bring the franchise to a close with a series-finale special next month.
Launched in 1995, “Fashion Police” grew out of the red-carpet coverage that reinvigorated Rivers’ career. Appearing alongside her daughter Melissa Rivers, the comedian brought sharp humor and earnest enthusiasm to red-carpet coverage. “Fashion Police” carried that approach into a panel-show format in which Rivers and her co-hosts would engage in energetic, entertaining fashion-oriented discussions.
RIP.

That’s to bad because I think they were just getting their groove back. Everyone looked like they were having fun and back in to it.

About time! This was nothing but cruelty masquerading as “humor” at the expense of others’ feelings.
