There’s no more room for Doubt. CBS has cancelled the Katherine Heigl drama after just two episodes.
Following dismal ratings, the network has pulled the legal drama off the schedule, to be replaced by a repeat of Bull Wednesday 10PM, March 1, with Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders taking over the 10PM slot from March 8.
It’s currently unclear whether the remaining 11 episodes of Doubt will ever see the light of day.
RIP.

Doubt is horrible and another failed series for Katherine Heigl (remember State of Affairs?) and I’m happy that Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders is back.
George W says
I liked Doubt and hope Amazon, Netflix or another network picks them up.
Hang in there…
Eva Macie says
I liked it also and hope they will air the remaining ones so it can possibly pick up ratings.
Jon T. says
Wow– ANOTHER failed show for Katherine Heigl?? I hope the bad reputation she built up working on “Grey’s Anatomy” isn’t following her around… Oh well– she has the cat food commercials to tide her over… 😀
DJ says
CBS takes away Pure Genius and we are left with Doubt ?? Or Training day???
Admit it CBS, you made a big mistake….Bring back Pure Genius
LC says
I liked both Pure Genius and Doubt. I am really sick of the “reality” shows along with series like “Two Broke Girls”, that have absolutely no value and are not even funny. They offend me and the “reality” shows are scripted.
RM says
I totally agree with you. I hate the reality shows.
Marion Emery says
I agree with you reality shows suck and they are not real anyway .

I like Katherine Heigl as an actress. We all make mistakes, people need to let her past actions go. I loved State of Affairs (and could not wait for it to return to continue the story after the air attack) and Doubt was growing on me. I am very disappointed to find out that it has been canceled. Networks are always so quick to jump the gun and cancel shows without giving them a chance. If you do not want to lose viewership, you should take the viewers opinions into account.
Nancy Miller says
I agree
GingerRogue says
Who says people haven’t gotten over her “mistake”? That she keeps getting hired seems to indicate that someone is giving her a chance. Anyway, Doubt just wasn’t that good. Heigl seemed bored and was barely phoning it in. Laverne Cox was just awful and unlikable. I had never seen her in anything but interviews, and given her rave reviews I was expecting so much more. Dule Hill was trying but he wasn’t given much to work with.
Kathy says
I agree 100%!! I loved State of Affairs, and like you I was just starting to get into Doubt. Why some of these other dumb shows stay on the air is beyond me.
Nancy Miller says
I really like this show and am extremely disappointed that it is canceled. Networks don’t give shows a chance anymore. Things have changed. With all the choices out there, you aren’t going to get the viewership of the old days. Too many good shows have been canceled in the last couple of years after 1 or 2 seasons. Pretty soon I am not going to watch any new shows because I know it will just get canceled.
mike says
Nothing wrong with having a 2 season show is there as that is a good length of time, And I’m sure you will still watch TV stuff that are mini series based
Robert Winkler says
My wife and I really this series why not give it a chance 2 episodes…..really……..There are episodes of other programs on tv that started with the same beginning the same way and flourished into still on tv.
mike says
Exactly cancelling after 2 episodes is really stupid + yea one of them TV shows was the iconic-Cheers had really low viewing figures when first aired
Then as you know the viewing figures really grew in 2nd half of first season
Phyllis Tagliareni says
I think it is terrible that they are cancelling this show after only 2 episodes. It didn’t even get a chance to succeed. I hope they will bring it back in the summer when schedule is lighter. I am glad that Criminal Minds Beyond Boarders is returning.
Janet says
Please – that is Bull……..you didn’t give Doubt a chance. I watched it and now you won’t give others a chance to watch it. It takes awhile for people to talk it up to their friends. Word of mouth goes a long way but now it’s over before it even began. That’s a shame .
Sharon Mckee says
Love Doubt. Take the Monday night stupid ‘Donut’ show off!!!
Karen Burchett says
I really Doubt and wanted to see where it was going. They didn’t even give it a chance.
Michael says
Pull the show for a rerun well I will run and watch somthing else. Not a rerun. at least play the episodes in the can.
Vickey says
Once again CBS screwed up It used to be my favorite station not anymore they’re canceling all the good programs guess I’ll start watching other stations
Michele says
I have to agree I don’t particularly like Katherine Heigle but I did like Doubt. And CBS isn’t giving shows a chance. I know that I loved Pure Genius and it’s gone. And I don’t understand for the life of me how Superior Donuts is getting renewed it’s the stupidest thing on TV. CBS I know that Criminal Minds and Code Black and Criminal Minds Beyond Borders are all up for renewal please renew them they are great shows and Code Black is awesome and you already got rid of Pure Genius so please keep this one.
Brenda Albrecht says
I agree the first 2 episodes kind of sucked, but after that they just kept getting better and better and now I am sad it got cancelled without really giving it a chance. I am enjoying the rest!
Pam says
I am really sad that Doubt will not be returning. My husband and I REALLY loved it. Too bad.
Darcy R says
I think to cancel Doubt is a major mistake by CBS. Show was gaining traction show by show. My wife and myself were really enjoying. Another CBS mistake.
Shirley Cousins says
I love Katherine Heigle I really wish she could find successful script. Doubt was good but it got too complicated with everyone’s personal problems they should have stuck to just the law. They tried to cram too much in to each episode so it got confusing. I hope it comes back trimmed up because the cast was great.
