Disney Channel has cancelled Dog with a Blog after three seasons.
While Disney Channel has yet to make an official announcement, co-star Beth Littleford confirmed in a recent FanlalaTV interview that the channel has decided not to move forward with Dog with a Blog Season 4, describing the sitcom’s cancellation as “a heartbreaking loss”:

Oh my gosh mine also. I love that show and I’m 56 and I watch it with my granddaughter and just got done watching the last episode and realized that was the final one. How sad they need to renew their show!!

My daughter was so sad and in shock with tonight’s last episode. The look on her face of sadness, disappointment and disbelief, heartbreaking. We loved this show. Why cancel? I will never forget her expression. She wanted to cry. I am very upset for her. It’s hard to find good clean wholesome entertainment for young minds. It’s a shame this one had to go.

I found this show to be so funny, even being an adult that I got my friends to watch it. I did not realize this show was going off when I watched the episode (their last) last Friday. Is there a way of bringing this show back? Why does Disney always do this? This is a great great show and funny. There is so much story line left. I wish they would bring DWAB back! I’m so upset. : (

I too am 54 years old and loved the show. It was extremely funny and SHARP WITTED. My 11 year old granddaughter started me on the show. Most tween shows are not that funny and their characters are just plain boring, but this show WAS A WINNER. Disney, you’ve just made a lot of your viewers angry by canceling a hit show that we all enjoyed. Not only was Stan adorable, but he was hilarious, really, really FUNNY.
So because of Disney’s poor decision to cancel the show, we all get to MISS that adorable and funny dog named Stan.
Thanks Disney, for nothing.

Series finale took me totally by surprise. I’ve been binge watching the series to catch up, and now it’s GONE. Big mistake, Disney. Stan and Chloe should get a spinoff, at the very least.

That was from my 8-year-old son. Way to go Disney. This was a good, wholesome, fun show which filled in the gaps in your audience, bringing in both younger and older viewers and bringing families together. Apparently it didn’t appeal enough to your precious, revenue-generating, teenaged target audience. Too hard for you to merchandize and monetize? Too bad you have shown that nothing matters to you but the almighty dollar. The heck with the family values you used to espouse.
It’s ok though – there are plenty of good shows for us to watch on Nickelodeon!

When this show was first aired, I was anxious to watch it because a TV show about a family with a talking dog sounded interesting and different. When I watched it I was delighted! This is one of the few entertaining TV shows that Disney has. So, I became fascinated in the show and watched every episode of the series ( I also recorded them and watched the reruns 🙂 ) When I found out that the show was cancelled, I was outraged and very sad and disappointed. How could they get rid of such a good show?! They could at least do a spinoff of the show with some of the characters. Please bring back Dog With A Blog!
