SYFY’S SPACE ACTION DRAMA DARK MATTER BEGINS PRODUCTION FOR SEASON THREE
Toronto – Prodigy Pictures is pleased to announce principal photography has begun on the third season of the sci-fi series Dark Matter. Based on the graphic novel Dark Matter, created by Joseph Mallozzi and Paul Mullie, of the Stargate franchise, the 13 one-hour episodes are slated to premiere in 2017 on Syfy in the U.S. and Space in Canada.
“We are thrilled to be back for the third season of Dark Matter,” said Jay Firestone, Executive Producer, Prodigy Pictures. “The complex cast of characters continue to fascinate audiences globally.”

Joining the cast this season are Ayisha Issa (12 Monkeys) as Solara Shockley, Mishka Thébaud (Bitten) as Adrian and Andrew Moodie (Trust No One) as Teku. They will join returning Dark Matter stars Melissa O’Neil, Anthony Lemke, Alex Mallari Jr. and Jodelle Ferland with Roger Cross and Zoie Palmer.
