Leonardo may have been cancelled at Starz, but Da Vinci’s Demons Season 4 could still become a reality.
Series scribe David Goyer tells Digital Spy that he intends to revive Da Vinci’s Demons “a couple of years” down the line as a limited series:
“There’s a possibility we could do a fourth season in a couple of years. There’s an idea that takes place 15 years later.
Say we did it four or five years later, it would be a self-contained eight-episode thing. We may still do that, as it takes place during the Bonfire of the Vanities.”
However, Goyer insists that plans for a potential Season 4 revival wont get in the way a ‘satisfying’ end to the third and final season as it stands:
“This has closure. For the fans, it’s hard to do a good ending. You hate those shows that don’t end because they got yanked. This isn’t that. We debated whether or not this would be an end. Fans will be really satisfied with the end.”
