Network Gives Early Renewals for Next Season to “Arrow,” “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend,”
“Supergirl”, “DC’s Legends of Tomorrow,” “The Flash,” “Jane The Virgin” and “Supernatural”
January 8, 2017 (Pasadena, CA) — The CW Network has given early renewals to seven of its primetime series for the 2017-2018 season. The announcement was made today during the network’s session at the Television Critics Association Press Tour in Pasadena by Mark Pedowitz, President, The CW.
“Over the past several seasons, The CW has built a schedule of proven performers, from our lineup of DC superheroes, to critically acclaimed comedies, to sci-fi dramas,” said Pedowitz. “Early pickups of these seven series now allow our producers to plan ahead for next season, and gives us a solid base to build on for next season, with original scripted series to roll out all year long.”
The series being ordered for the 2017-2018 season include ARROW (Season 6), CRAZY EX-GIRLFRIEND (Season 3), DC’s LEGENDS OF TOMORROW (Season 3), THE FLASH (Season 4), JANE THE VIRGIN (Season 4), SUPERGIRL (Season 3), and SUPERNATURAL (Season 13). Specific premiere dates for each series will be announced at a later time. (CW | David)

Congratulations to all the renewed programs. I was worried that Supergirl’s move to Canada and CW might hurt it, however, it is still a good show, even with the lower budget and the departure of some of the cast. It’s my favorite Monday 8 PM program.
On behalf of the fans of these shows; Thank you very much CW!

I sure wish they would revive Constantine as a regular show instead of animated and I wish it would be on CW. I’m very glad to hear of my favorites being renewed though.

Yes I agree with Juanita… please don’t make a mockery of Constantine being an animated show.
He deserves to have his regular show return.

Dear CW:
Not sure if you will ever see this page, but would it be possible for you to make a home for Grimm.
That show totally fits into the supernatural world on your network. I am so sad to see this show ending just after 6 seasons & there are so many more grimm stories to tell.
PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEEEE consider.

I agree! Please don’t let Grimm go! That’s been a show I look forward to every week. The show is so different and for me keeps getting better.
The only reason I watch NBC is because of Grimm. If I never watched Grimm I would not have learned about the 2 other shows I watch on NBC. This is Us and Emerald City.
