CSI: Cyber appears to be cancelled-in-waiting after CBS omitted the show from its schedule post-March, however, creator Anthony Zuiker hasn’t given up the Season 3 renewal ghost, per THR:
“I don’t think [this is the end of CSI]. We’re going to go ahead and do 22 [episodes] as ordered and then you sit tight in May and see how the schedule shuffles around and you hope to continue. We have the biggest stars in television in terms of Ted Danson, Patricia Arquette and James Van Der Beek; it’s an amazing franchise and a very solid show. Because the future of crime is cyber, there’s no reason why it shouldn’t continue.”

I like the show’s concept but not who they picked for actors. The show has been better since Ted Danson joined. I can’t believe that Patricia Arquette won an Oscar she doesn’t act very well in this show but I did like her in The Medium.

Agreed. Cyber is not Arquette’s gig. Zuiker did have great idea and concept; but the show is poorly executed. Insipid casting and uninspiring characters don’t help, either. BTW, Danson has jumped the ship. I am afraid it’s ‘Bye-bye’ time to Cyber.

It’s bad enough that we lost the other csi shows. This csi is interesting to watch. I can think of others that should be off before this one. Slowly this network us loosing their viewers with the trash you leave on and the good shoes you take off. Doesn’t help that anything gets on Sunday nite beco n e’s doo n ed.

I love CSI Cyber! I think Patricia Arquette is great. I do not think Ted Danson brings anything good to the show. I watched CSI Las Vegas for years and cannot understand why Ted D. Was added to that show.

CSI- Cyber is a thinking person’s show and the rating have beaten Quantico by 2 Mil every week! Actors are great and Danson has infused a spark of life to Patricia. Hayley Kiyoko is gorgeous and a hoot!

This show gets better and better with each episode. A downright shame if CSI Cyber gets the boot. The characters are coming into their own and Patricia Arquette is a great actress who has found her next “Medium”. As for Ted Danson, he brought “old school” to “new school” and a safe place for Arquette’s character to escape the madness of the dark web she fights every day. The Five Deadly Sins was like a thrill ride. Each show seems to build on the one before climbing deeper into the dark web and the insane minds who create the chaos. Please, Please, renew this show for a 3rd, 4th, 5th season…and give the characters the rein to explore the next platform that the dark web has created to wrack havoc in this every changing world.

Really hope that CBS reconsiders seriously renewing CSI Cyber for a third season. This show has improved with age! There is still viable story lines for more seasons.

I love this show, the only reason I started watching was because it starred Patricia Arquette. I’ve never watched any of the other CSI shows, so you drew in a new viewer. I hope to see it come back, even if on another network.

Seriously? I just watched the Season Finale and it seemed like I was watching the SERIES Finale. NOT cool. I love this show. Sometimes Patricia A is a bit…flat? I guess you would call it, but the show has a great premise and it’s one of my favorites.

There are a lot of us friends who love the show for a variety of reasons. It’s been so interesting each week, and I don’t see how they can run out of material considering just how many more ways the computer world is reaching into our private lives and work lives. I have never been for of Patricia’s acting. Although many people love her, she seems “flat” to me, too. Can’t put my finger on it, but she always seem to be reading her lines. Would rather she become the Director in a less front row seat, and find another actress or actor to be the primary role player. Maybe DB? I actually thought that was what he was going to do when they brought him aboard. He is a natural in any role. She tries too hard, although a wonderful person from what I hear. Just not natural.

Add my vote to the show’s return. I enjoy the way it has evolved. Van der Beek is largely unnecessary, but I can tolerate him while the writers try to find his place.
