The Crown Season 2 releases December 8, with Season 3 dropping in 2018, but the Netflix series remains on course for a six-season run, so long as creator Peter Morgan gets some help, per THR:
I’d obviously have to see how the show is being received, and I’d have to get some help along the way. I’d very much like to find some collaborators who can come with me on that journey because I wrote the first season entirely by myself, and the second season, too. So I would want to find some help moving forward just so I’m still standing.
Will The Crown reign for SIX seasons? Stay tuned as we continue to monitor the renew/cancel status of The Crown Season 4, 5 and 6…
