Crisis in Six Scenes cancelled already? Woody Allen has cast doubt on the future of the series after vowing to never return to TV again, per Digital Spy:
“I am hoping that I am never going to have to do this again as long as I live,” he said. “It was very hard for me to do it; it was not an easy thing, but it’s over.”
Allen said that, after signing up with Amazon to make his first series, he “thought [he] would be able to knock it off in a breeze”.
“But it didn’t turn out that way,” he admitted. “It was much harder than I thought. I underestimated the difficulty of it.
“I normally make movies. I thought that I would slip this in and it would be easy because it was television, but it was a lot of work. It was the same amount of work as a movie!”
Will Allen and Amazon reunite for a second season of Crisis in Six Scenes, or is it already a one-and-done? Stay tuned as we continue to monitor the cancel/renew status of Crisis in Six Scenes Season 2…
