Can Constantine climb out of cancellation hell? Actor Matt Ryan says the axed NBC series has “unfinished business,” per Digital Spy:
“I felt that when the show got cancelled, there was a little bit of unfinished business – that we were just getting started, and finding what the tone and the pace of the show was.”
With a series revival extremely unlikely, Ryan is “up” for extending the character’s role on other DC shows:
“There’s all these rumors going around that he’ll turn up on some of the other DC shows – I don’t know. But John’s such a character, you could drop him into any of those universes and he’d hold his own.”
“To turn up on Arrow was a great joy and then when they asked me to do Justice League Dark, the animation, to do him in a different medium as well, it was great.
Does Constantine deserve a second chance, or should it remain in cancellation hell forever?
Kanarus says
Personally this is why I prefer the CW over places like NBC. If the show doesn’t perform exactly how they want it to they cancel it without giving it a chance.
