Comedy Central renews Stupid Questions With Chris Distefano on the back of an overall deal with the comedian.
The agreement will allow Distefano to create and develop content across multiple platforms and includes a number of projects already in development, including a new one-hour stand-up special (Chris Distefano: Size 38 Waist, debuting Jan. 18.), a new animated series, an unscripted show and the continuation of Stupid Questions With Chris Distefano, an interstitial series that airs on Friday nights.

Chris Distefano is an actor and comedian based in New York. You can see him starring in the IFC series Benders, co-hosting Ultimate Beastmaster on Netflix, on his webseries Bay Ridge Boys, and in the upcoming Amazon pilot Making Friends. Distefano has appeared on MTV’s Guy Code and Girl Code, as well as truTV’s Comedy Knockout. He recently starred in and Co-Executive Produced the Sony/CBS pilot Distefano, based on his life and written by Carter Bays and Craig Thomas, the creators of How I Met Your Mother. Distefano has performed stand-up on Late Night with Seth Meyers on NBC, the Late Show with David Letterman on CBS, and The Half Hour on Comedy Central. Distefano recently filmed a forthcoming one-hour stand-up special for Comedy Central.
