Code Black creator Michael Seitzman has signed a new deal with series producer ABC Studios, Deadline reports.
ABC Studios EVP Patrick Moran, said:
“We’re proud to continue our relationship with Michael at ABC Studios. He created an incredible show for us in Code Black and he’s a big part of the exciting and innovative television that we’re known for.”
While it doesn’t confirm a second season of the medical drama, the deal extends Seitzman’s relationship with the studio.
That being said, CBS recently announced that Code Black would be among the freshman show’s returning for Season 2 in 2016-17, though an official renewal is still in the wind.
Stay tuned as we continue to monitor the official status of Code Black Season 2…
