Class has already been cancelled after only one season, according to reports. However, EP Steven Moffat denies that the Doctor Who spinoff’s fate has already been decided, insisting the series could yet return for Season 2, per GQ:
“We don’t know about that right now, we would love to get more Class made. We’re in a different world now of how television works, especially on channels basically online. Wait and see what’s going to happen. Now, the Weeping Angels [in the end-of-series cliffhanger] cannot be allowed to win, can they? So let’s just hope that Coal Hill [school] gets another go.”
