Class Season 2 was quietly cancelled months ago. Now, creator Patrick Ness has admitted that any faint hopes of an 11th hour reversal have all but faded:
We should be filming right now. With the new cycles of Doctor Who, we’d pretty much need to be to be on the air before even 2019. But we’re not
Lamenting the BBC’s handling of the Doctor Who spinoff, he said:
I remain baffled by the sched decisions of BBC1, which were odd for a critically-acclaimed show. But again, I’m so grateful for the chance!
If I’m honest, a Season 2 has been a faint hope, but it’s a fact that BBC America LOVES the show, so who know? If so, I wish them wings!
I fought and fought and fought for the show. I’d love to be filming right now. But onwards, onwards.
On what Class Season 2 would have looked like, he offered:
“And if I HAD got a 2nd season: weeping angel civil war & PLANET, Quill has a dangerous son, Charlie & Matteusz shirtless wood chopping..”

It has been the MOST amazing experience. I loved it, and I am so proud of the show and what we made. My heart just bursts with happy.

I’m in Richmond Virginia and use Comcast. I can not find Broadchurch. I watched it on 114 the last season.
