As we reported, Doctor Who spinoff Class was cancelled many months ago by BBC Three.
Broadcaster controller Damian Kavanagh has finally ‘opened up’ on the decision to axe the series after one short run, stating that it didn’t attract enough numbers, per RadioTimes:
“There was nothing wrong with it. I thought [writer] Patrick [Ness] did a great job, he explored an amazing world. In honesty it didn’t really land for us on BBC3; some shows don’t and I have to make decisions about what we’re going to do from a drama point of view, and what we did after Class was Clique which worked really well for us.”
Will you miss Class? Despite not catching fire, should the BBC have stuck with the series for Season 2?
