Catfish: The TV Show executive producer David Metzler has signed an overall deal with Critical Content, the studio behind the popular MTV series. Under the pact, Metzler will continue as showrunner on Catfish.

Catfish has yet to be officially renewed for Season 6 by MTV, however, Metzler’s deal may serve as a positive indicator.
