You cancel great shows like Castle & Nashville that have loyal followings & will put in some pilot that you may or may not give a real chance for America to like it (canceling after 2-3 episodes). Castle was rating in the top 20 & sometimes in the top 10 each week!
Ever hear of a little show called NCIS; it’s been around 20+ years!

May 16, 2016 at 08:40Castle WAS a great show up until season eight, then they fired Stana and Tamala which would influence the series immensely had season 9 happened. Sad that the show had to go, however I felt it coming after the studio fired Stana and Tamala. And even if it didn’t get cancelled it would have never been the same as it was. Also the show did start to go a bit downhill in this season or at least that is what I think, don’t get me wrong it started great but then this whole thing with locksat and everything started being too much. I would say that the first few seasons were actually better than this one so I do understand the decision they made
I love NCIS and the fact that they have as many people there as they do it is amazing, also I guess what helps the NCIS series is the humour and the fact that they have THREE different series. One based in D.C., on in L.A. and one in New Orleans.
All in all, it is sad to see a show like Castle, of which I was a faithful viewer from the minute I saw the first episode to go. It was a wonderful eight years
