I wouldn’t axe either one. Wrap up Extant in season 3 and Zoo in season 2. Hollywood lately has been milking their shows into 3, 4 or 5 seasons. They forgot what a mini-series is. The writing becomes thin and the plot lines predictable to the point of aggravation and no longer believable. And if you read the book some of these shows are based on, the source material becomes unrecognizable. You know one of the reasons why American Horror Story is so popular? IT ENDS! I dropped Falling Skies after 3 seasons and was prepared to drop Under the Dome had it not ended this year. The writing on both shows became lame. I read Zoo, it should not go beyond a 2nd season. The show that aggravates me the most is Game of Thrones. The television writers are crazy for Martin to finish his latest book. And for what, so they can rewrite it? Give me a break. I don’t see me sticking with Thrones much longer.

Don’t cancel either one. Get rid of all those crappy, boring reality shows that require the intellect of a fungus to watch. Net works want viewers to watch their shows but the way shows are not given a chance to get a following it has become not worth the time investment to watch anything on network TV. To many series are cancelled before a season is over. Sy-fy movies are the biggest box office money makers, but net works are oblivious to this fact because of the way most show that show any promise have been cancelled, some after only a few episodes. Another reason for the network series failing is the fact that networks have forgotten that everyone has a TV so why do these idiots continue to run a crawl on the screen telling me what is on tomorrow night immediately after sitting thru a 5 minute commercial break. Instead of show cancellations maybe networks should get rid of the those idiot program directors.

I totally agree with Ken. I would rather they cancel ALL “reality” shows and NOT cancel either one one of these shows. Get better writers if necessary but please continue both.
