Cocktail Connoisseur Jack Maxwell Returns for More Global Escapades in Travel Channel’s ‘Booze Traveler’
NEW YORK (November 1, 2016) – Travel Channel’s Jack Maxwell continues his search for the world’s most interesting beverages and the people who drink them with all-new, fun escapades in the third season of “Booze Traveler,” premiering on Monday, December 12 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT. He’ll sail Hobart Harbor in Australia for a taste of the world’s best single malt whiskey, catch spiders in Cambodia to make tarantula wine and drink apple pie moonshine at the Mamou Mardi Gras in Louisiana.
Beginning Monday, November 28, the premiere episode of “Booze Traveler” will be available for streaming on TravelChannel.com, TV Everywhere and select digital download and video on demand platforms.
“I’ve had such rich experiences in stunningly beautiful places, and tasted unique drinks I never thought would pass my lips,” says Maxwell. “This has been my favorite season so far, having met so many wonderful people I now call friends.”
Maxwell begins the new season’s journey south of the United States border in Guadalajara, Mexico, celebrating Foundation Day, one of the city’s biggest party days of the year. After making music with a mariachi band and drinking raicilla, an agave-based spirit, he finds himself in Oaxaca for an exclusive taste of an award-winning mezcal. Maxwell offers the same spirit to Mexico’s thirstiest folk saint in exchange for safe travel to Tepoztlán, where he participates in an ancient Aztec ceremony for a taste of pulque, a drink older than tequila. Later on, he works the blue agave fields for a shot of tequila. Maxwell makes his last stop in Mexico’s capital city, where he drinks a one-of-a-kind cocktail and plays a shocking drinking game.

Thank you for renewing this amazing and entertaining episodes. Booze Traveler is by far my favorite show to watch for the week. I look forward to relax and learn what our world drinks. I really like Jack Maxwell because he enjoys people. He is a the perfect host for Booze Traveler. Alcohol always will be here and every nationality has a story about alcohol. Thank you for bringing the knowledge out what people have done to satisfy their thirst. I preferred to eat more so than drink. Actually, I’m not even a drinker but this show makes me want to have a drink. Keep this show on until all countries have been aired! Cheers, Michelle
