Bones has one foot in the TV afterlife, but will it end on a happy note? Co-showrunner Michael Peterson has hinted that the long-running procedural will have an upbeat conclusion, per TVLine:
“Episode 11 ends on a cliffhanger, I’ll say that much. The finale is a two-parter. After watching 67 episodes, my wife asked if [series creator] Hart [Hanson] was a hippie, because everything worked out. [For example, when] Wendell slept with Angela, Hodgins got along with Wendell by the end of the episode. Things work out. Hart’s very much a ‘people ride off into the sunset’ kind of guy, he’s an optimist, and we wanted to infuse that into the finale. We wanted to have them go through hell, but at the end, we want them to ride off.”

Out of all the shows that I’ve watched over the years I’ve always looked forward to Bones every season, I am going to truly miss this show. Bones and Booth as well as every one else at the Jeffersonian have been a part of my television watching for the past 12 years and I don’t have any other show or cast of characters that is good enough to make me not miss watching Bones.

You have made a HUGE mistake cancelling Bones!!! Doubt if I will be looking at any of the channels’ programs after the finale!
