“I think the next 12, we’re just excited to say goodbye the right way,” TJ Thyne said, giving a shout out to the fans for helping the show get to do “one last hurrah.”
Michaela Conlin shared his sentiment. “I’m also really glad that we have the opportunity to honor this show with a proper ending. After all the episodes we’ve done, that’s really special.”
Although 12 episodes is a far cry from the show’s normal 22-episode seasons, co-showrunner Jonathan Collier promised “a lot’s going to happen in the new season. Because we have 12 episodes and not 22, its going to happen at a faster pace.”

I just don’t understand the networks not allowing this show to continue for the full season! Do they plan on replacing it with another stupid “reality” show? The only shows that I watch on the Fox Network are as follows: Bones, Sleepy Hollow, Wayward Pines and the X-Files. Soon it seems I won’t be watching the Fox Network any more!

I agree. Now they will have to squeeze in a lot in to a little. Especially after the season finale. I also watch the same FOX shows. I’m glad they decided to bring Sleepy Hollow back for a 4th season tho. I can’t stand when networks cancel good shows and keep bringing back the same reality shows. Like CBS for example, how many seasons of Big Brother & Survivor do they really need?! 33 seasons of Survivor & 18 of Big Brother…I know people like those shows, but still.
