NBC’s Blindspot, already the fall season’s #1-rated new series in adults 18-49, has become the first freshman series to get a back 9 pickup, bringing its first-season order to a full-season 22 episodes. The order follows the recent pickup by the network of 9 backup scripts.

Of course, the order doesn’t guarantee renewal, but it does keep Blindspot right in the thick of the renewal rat race.
The order also makes Blindspot this season’s first new series to receive a back-9 pick-up.

Goes great back to back with The Blacklist, & the female lead is a nice blend of Elizabeth Keen & Quiet (Metal Gear Solid V).
Fills the void left by the cancellation of Allegience (which oddly enough got better after begin cancelled, thankfully it got a proper ending & continued airing online), & Covert Affairs (cancelled for being too expensive to keep producing).
