Cancelled by NBC, but Aquarius Season 3 could still find “another life” elsewhere – at least according to actor Gethin Anthony, per Digital Spy:
“I believe there’s a possibility that it’ll have another life, in another form – certainly the Hodiak (David Duchovny) character. So without meaning to tantalise, and there’s certainly nothing confirmed, I sort of think that’s perhaps where it could go.
But it’d be in a year or so, or maybe later on – so in that way, it’s one of those ‘never say never’ things.”
Should Aquarius‘ cancellation stick as expected, Anthony believes the two-season run stands as a “complete work”:
“I absolutely do see it as a complete work. It’s something that I’ve had a few months to think about, because we talk about these things a little bit earlier than they’re made public.
It’s something to be proud of – especially the last couple of episodes. I’m very proud of those and the work that everybody did.”
Ultimately, Aquarius fell well short of its five season plan.
Stay tuned as we monitor the cancellation graveyard for any signs of an Aquarius resurrection…
