NBC has cancelled Aquarius after two low-rated seasons, RenewCancelTV has confirmed.
Coming as no surprise, the network has opted not to continue the serial killer drama into Season 3.
Aquarius‘ demise was signaled last August, when the Peacock dumped the show from its Thursday slot to the Saturday night graveyard shift.
Cancellation cuts Aquarius well short of its five-season plan.
RIP.

I enjoyed watching Aquarius but yet again a show I liked gets cancelled. Well I learned this fall I won’t watch one new show and I haven’t. There’s really no point, most new shows get cancelled so why invest in them. I subscibed to netflix and I can watch plenty of new and original programming. I give up on the networks.

I liked this show, it will be missed, although the writing was on the wall, so it’s not surprising.
On not watching new shows, *all* shows get cancelled eventually. Yes, even the Simpsons will someday. Maybe 60 Minutes will run forever, but everything else will end. Also, what makes you think Netflix doesn’t cancel shows? It costs them money to make original programming, if a program isn’t recouping the cost to make it, it will be gone.

I never said Netflix couldn’t cancel series, but I can watch them when I want to and they generally don’t can’t a show midseason. The networks have been know to do that. I don’t think they give shows enough time to catch on anymore. If they don’t do well after one or two episode they’re finished.

Aquarius was an incredible exciting show! Why cancel such an excellent show? It failed because they failed to market it well. It’s 2021 and I just finished it. The name Aquarius made it sound silly! I was surprised to find yet another show about Charles Mansion so very interesting! Any chance they’ll bring it back? I would love to se the ending
