Unsurprisingly, CBS has cancelled American Gothic after one season, RenewCancelTV has confirmed.
The mystery drama joins BrainDead in the cancellation graveyard, leaving Zoo as the network’s only summer scripted drama to survive the reaper.

I didn’t like how they used a child for those awful scenes. I’m not surprised it got cancelled. Would be a got show on cable because they could do more with it.
