FX has quietly renewed American Crime Story Season 4. The fourth season of the FX series will be based on the Monica Lewinsky/Clinton sex scandal, Variety reports:
“American Crime Story” is reuniting with author Jeffrey Toobin for a future season, Variety has confirmed.
“ACS” producers Fox 21 TV and FX Productions have together optioned Toobin’s book “A Vast Conspiracy: The Real Sex Scandal That Nearly Brought Down a President” for use for an upcoming installment. The book pulls apart the threads of the Clinton sex scandal that devoured the late 1990s, framing it as a legal thriller surrounding Paula Jones, Kenneth Starr, and Monica Lewinsky.
American Crime Story Season 2 has been delayed to premiere in 2018, followed by Season 3.
Season 4 is expected to air in 2019.
Stay tuned as we continue to monitor the renew/cancel future of American Crime Story…

The Mad Hatter pay for this? When are we doing his expose-50 years of rape and fraud and payoffs? The wife and mother of his children? The #2 who was supposed to get an abortion and whom he still wants to punish because she forced him to marry her? And # 3 who doesn’t smile anymore since she recently found out just what she married. THAT would make a show. Conspiracy? Over throwing the US government with help from Russia. How about that?
